You've got to get up every morning with a smile on your face,

And show the world all the love in your heart.

Then people gonna treat you better.

You're gonna find, yes, you will,

That you're beautiful as you feel.

A Little About Me:
It all started when I was a little girl, in Dayton, Ohio.   I spent alot of time with my carpenter grandpa in his work shop building things.   In later in years I watched him create jewelry with beautiful gem stones.   My grandpa and "the boys" (my father and uncle Ray) did all of the building and repairs to our homes and autos (the original Tool Time guys).   I spent much of my time with my beloved grandma, cooking, playing cards/building card castles and drinking tea or hot Jello before it was chilled (we loved the chilled bouncy stuff also) along with shortbread cookies!    I went to grade school at Huffman elementary.   In most cities, alot of schools are named for someone famous or a major contributor in the community.   So it wouldn't suprise you to know that I graduated from Wilbur Wright high school (with a 4.1 GPA/toot! toot!).   Barb: I met Barb Baily the first day of my sophmore year in our homeroom.   We were sat together at the same table and have been best friends for 30 years.  She used to always wear purple, and with her red hair she looked beautiful!   She is of German descent and reflects her good stock in her perfect stallion like features.  My high school and 20 something social years are some of the best memories of my life!

For 29 years I lived in Ohio.   I worked for the police department for 6 years after my high school graduation.   My whole family was on the Dayton Police Department. I loved the comradship, however the negativity I encountered was not for me. I needed to follow my own drummer.   My father, uncle Ray, Sharon (step mother) and I were all on the police department together.   I made alot of very close friends in Dayton that I dearly miss.   "Hiya!" if any of you are peeking in".

One day my girlfriend, Barbara and I decided we wanted to leave home and see what the Land of Oz was really like.   So we moved to Dallas, Texas, like another friend of ours did, (she came back to town a cultured lady, flight attendant type), we were impressed!   I stayed in Dallas for 12 years.   Barb and I were happy little angels there for a time.   She got a husband, a baby and a great job.    I got over religious, got married, got a baby (Patrick B.), got divorced, got jobs in the finance world (and some other unique places), got to be a really phoney typical Dallasite, got enlightened from being really phoney, got a boutique and salon and theeeeen, left Phoney Town.   When   Patrick B. went to live with his father in San Diego,   I sold my business and headed west.   I traveled and lived in Baja Sur and California for two years and then decided to settle in San Diego.   For the first two years I lived in Ocean Beach and pursued my artwork (designing jewelry and silversmithing symbolic images i.e. Goddess images, Angels, amulets etc.).   As fate, art show travel, outdoor adventureing and the desire to simplify my life would have it...I bought two RV's.   "Why would anyone move to San Diego and not live by the beach", I asked myself.   In order to live by the sea energy, I would have to move into an RV park in north San Diego or near the border.    That was not a hard choice.    Since I have a love for Baha, I decided on the border town and have dwelled here since August 18, 1996.

I am currently winding down my jewelry business to pursue nursing.   There comes a time in your spiritual development when life can no longer be about ones personal fulfillment.   Yes, the jewelry is fun and fulfilling but must be a part-time hobby from here on.   I will probably work more on some large religious pieces I have in mind. I may go to one or two high end art shows a year to share them.   I would like to create large crucifix statues or wall hangings.  I have had a strong pulling to use my time to help others from here on out.   Nursing seems like an excellent avenue for giving to others.   I would like to lean toward hospice work.   I believe there is much to learn from the phases one goes through on their final and most important journey, death.   I also have a strong pull to write about death and dying.   Much internal growth and attitude change can be gained from the death phase experiences.   To grow, a persons view and priorities need to be "right" (pure thinking and in line with God's will).   Finding the truth leads to a loving/forgiving heart, knowing and acting on God's will, therefore creating a universal consciousness.

My Online Life:
It all started when I decided I was tired of traveling to art shows and needed to market Donna B.'s creations on the internet.   I bought a "puter"!   Yeh!   I do not care for chat rooms unless they have a theme that I can recieve information from, i.e. (pets, gardening etc.).   I enjoy using metasearch engines and reference engines to find cool stuff all over the world, past, present and future.    I have gotten hooked on building my web pages now and enjoy learning building tools.    I create all of my business cards, newsletters, forms, signs, greeting cards etc. on my computer.   I love to play with graphics using all of my nifty software.   I am studying writing.   I would like to create web links to take surveys to obtain the information I want to gather for my books.
